Tucked into the Nottinghamshire countryside just outside Oxton and a short drive from Southwell, the Bridge Inn has grown into one of the county's best-loved gastro pubs. The gardens and terraces look out over open fields, and on a good day there's nowhere better to sit with a Sunday roast and a glass of something cold.
The kitchen takes its food seriously — steaks, stonebaked pizzas, proper burgers, fish and chips — alongside a full vegan and vegetarian menu, a dedicated kids' menu, and Sunday roasts that draw people in from across Nottinghamshire. Dogs are welcome, there's a children's play area, and the domed dining pods out back are genuinely unlike anything else around here.
